$29 for 29 and Under

Experience the pulsating, fast-paced, and energetic world of New York City Ballet for only $29 a ticket.

New York City Ballet is one of the foremost dance companies in the world, with a roster of nearly 100 spectacular dancers, a 62-member orchestra, and a repertory of modern masterpieces. The Company, founded in 1948 by George Balanchine and Lincoln Kirstein, performs 23 weeks of the year at Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater, its home since 1964, designed by Balanchine and Philip Johnson specifically for NYCB.

New York City Ballet offers best available, day-of tickets to anyone 29 years of age or under for select fall, winter, and spring repertory performances. (This replaces our former Student Rush program as of September 2014.)

  • A valid form of ID with proof of age is required at the time of purchase, without exception.
  • A maximum of two $29 Rush tickets per qualified buyer are available for purchase on the day of performance at the Box Office Window only and may not be available for all dates during the season.

Seat locations will be assigned by the Box Office, and will be sold from the time the box office opens until the start of performance, or until the set $29 Rush inventory is sold out. Quantities and availability are subject to change and may be revoked at any time.

Availability will be posted online each Monday during performance weeks, for that week of performances only.
